Meet the Team

Marielle Gamo, MSW, LCSW

Marielle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over five years of experience working with adults and older adults across a range of mental health settings. Much of her clinical background includes inpatient psychiatric care, where she supported individuals during acute mental health crises, provided crisis intervention, and facilitated both individual and group therapy. These experiences have shaped her ability to remain calm, compassionate, and grounded during life’s most challenging moments.

Marielle also has extensive experience supporting individuals facing financial hardship and complex life stressors, assisting clients in navigating community resources and accessing essential services. This work has strengthened her understanding of how systemic barriers, life transitions, and access to care can significantly impact mental health, and it continues to inform her therapeutic approach.

Marielle strives to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental. She believes therapy is most effective when it is collaborative and tailored to each client’s unique needs and circumstances. Her approach is trauma-informed and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and supportive therapy. Together with her clients, she works to identify patterns, build practical coping skills, and develop tools to feel more balanced and grounded in daily life.

Marielle believes therapy should move at a pace that feels safe and empowering. Her goal is to meet clients where they are, honor their lived experiences, and support them in building insight, resilience, and meaningful, lasting growth. She understands that reaching out for therapy is a powerful first step and is honored to walk alongside clients on their healing journey.

Outside of work, Marielle enjoys taking dance classes, reading, volunteering, and trying new restaurants. She also loves spending time with her 100-pound dog and two chinchillas, and values quality time with friends and family.
