experiences on mental and physical health. She creates a safe, supportive environment where
clients feel empowered to heal, build resilience, and regain a sense of control over their lives.
Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities, mindfulness practices, and
psychoeducation, always centering her clients' strengths and lived experiences.
Glenda has extensive experience supporting individuals experiencing burnout and compassion
fatigue. She helps clients navigate the emotional toll of high-stress environments, set healthy
boundaries, and develop sustainable self-care practices to prevent long-term exhaustion. By fostering emotional resilience and self-compassion, she empowers clients to restore balance and reconnect with their purpose.
Glenda’s work is rooted in advocacy and empowerment, helping individuals and families navigate complex healthcare systems, increase health literacy, and overcome systemic barriers to care. Passionate about social justice, she actively works to combat bullying, improve maternal
and infant health outcomes, and advocate for breast cancer awareness. Her leadership in
community-based initiatives has driven meaningful change, from promoting Sudden Infant
Death Syndrome prevention to advocating for inclusive, anti-discriminatory policies.
Glenda continues to apply her dedication to service to create significant and enduring impacts
within her community and intends to strengthen and intentionally center both internal and
external advocacy strategies, focusing on issues that directly address systemic and intersectional inequities. Glenda is dedicated in her mission to create lasting, systemic change and to uplift individuals through compassionate, trauma-informed, client-centered care.
Outside of work, Glenda finds joy in movement, music, and the serenity of nature. Whether working out, listening to Beyoncé or a favorite podcast, or simply enjoying the sunshine by the water, she values balance and self-care, principles she encourages in her therapeutic practice.
